Chicago ISA 2002
There will be a CSD meeting to vote on raising membership dues to $82, division dues to $5, and also raising age requirement to become life membership. Bob and Jim Noel will be attending the Chicago ISA and one of them will attend the CSD meeting– our section must be represented, as NorCal is 2nd largest section in the country. As a delegate, Bob will be pointing out that the Ncal section is growing and we are sustaining ourselves well. Quality Technical Programming is what is going to sustain membership services.
Because of reduced income from shows and loss of membership, staff has been reduced at HQ. HQ to be changing business model to reflect reduce number of large shows and proliferate small regional shows and targeted market shows, i.e. pharmaceutical shows.
Control systems security may be a way to keep ISA most active and generate income for the society
Financial Report
