Final Review and approval of Budget 2003-2004 -Terry

The 2003-2004 budget was approved.  The estimated income is $71,900 with expenses of $73,604. (Terry can put in spread sheet) There was a digression discussion about scholarship that was tabled for next meeting

Golf Tournament –Terry and Brad

There are currently 17 Teams with 60 attendees. Need to get sponsors for 2-4 more teams.

Brad will get the list from Terry to handle reservations.   Guru to make up presentation about the May Technical Conference.

John Querido, Unit Section Chair plans to attend tournament and speak at the dinner. Jim Noel or Brad Rupert to MC the meal. Kirk M to speak about up coming Conference as well as membership issues.

Events/Section Meetings - Herb

    Our objective is four events in Sacramento area, the list follows:

        West Coast Grid Control, Folsom on October 28

        Peripheral Canal in Delta Area

        Genetech in Fairfield

        Alza in Sacramento during February

        Sacramento Food Products in Stockton. Kirk will look into

    Student Tour in November at Anchor Steam Brewery was also discussed.

    CCST test review class given by Bob Hammaker in January

Nor-Cal Conference May 2004

    Date is May 12 &13

There was Discussion about what was available at Facilities at Maritime Academy. 4-6 lecture rooms and a Hall. Terry will look into it.

What is the cost to get equipment form rental source?  Details of what each presenter needs or expects.

Terry to develop a list of companies that will want a booth. Tim will handle the booth (setup?) only. Do we need to get professional committed event coordinator? What is the cost? What was done for last show we sponsored 1996?  Many open questions for next meeting.
