a.5 Need to move the location to another course next year; Didn’t like the way the greens were managed (discussion tabled). Move to Fairfield  and get others feedback.

        Talk of splitting the south bay off as separate section- thought to be a bad idea

5.   Council of Society Delegates at Houston Expo Oct.17-21         Bob, Terry, Nand & Glen 1930

Representation from Norcal ISA – Bob, Terry, Nand, Glen & Jim with 2 votes from Glen and Nand

Issues to be discussed and voted on at meeting – Same member rebates as past year

Other business at Expo.

Notes:

Bob W suggests that we need do an alternative candidate? Nand may not be able to attend.

We have approx 860 members in Nor. Cal

Nand not at this meeting and may not be able to attend in Houston

Suzanne appoints Terry as delegate and Glen as alternative She will inform John Querido DVP

ISA holds technical information it collects from Members. It requires they unjustly pay to access information

Vote against keeping rebates to locals at 17% and return to 21%

National needs to respect and nurture strong local chapters.

6.    District 11 VP Nominations

Currently only one candidate from LA section.

Glen thinks Kathy Erchin a past president would be a good candidate. He will try to contact her.

Glen talked to Raj Adani, the current candidate. Glen said that Raj will need to be encouraged to work for changes in ISA to provide strong support for Sections.

7.    ISA Norcal Tech 2004 – Conference and Exhibit

    Problems downloading the data base provided by ISA and pulling out the E-mail address.

    Forms Capability added to web site, We can get  feed back from visitors

    Haven’t used the norcal_leader.org list
    Leader list on Website, use that for section leaders, OK’d by Suzanne

    Next meeting is November 6th.
