SFSU Student Section participation
Mark Massey, who just graduated from SFSU and a student
ISA member, was our guest at the meeting and provided input
for future ISA meetings that would be of interest to the SFSU
student section. Power generation controls is a student interest
as well as being able to see actual process control equipment
and having its control applications explained at various plant
tours. Board suggested someone from EPRI to be guest
speaker at the April SFSU student section joint meeting –
Terry has name of person and will follow up.
Mark indicated that there is no ISA advertising at SJSU
( San Jose State U), although IEEE and SWE do advertise. This
is due to no ISA representation at SJSU although they have
a power and controls curriculum. Ask Bob Webb to follow up.
Financials
Terry passed out the financial worksheets for YTD and the
Norcal section is in good shape.
