Exam and Certification

The CCST examination will be given at the California Maritime Academy in Vallejo, CA.  The exam application is made directly to ISA, not the Northern California Section.  For more information see:

We recommend that you read the application requirements as soon as possible as it can take some time to collect the information required.  The application must get to ISA by the deadline in order to take the exam.  Your application should stipulate that you are taking the exam in Vallejo, California.  The application and exam fee  is paid to ISA, and is separate from the fee for the review class hosted by the Northern California Section.

CCST Exam Preparation Class - Vallejo

Three consecutive Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m each day.

• Saturday, January 26, 2008
• Saturday, February 2
• Saturday, February 9

ISA Member Fee:  $150  
Non-member Fee: $225
($75 will be applied toward membership if you join ISA)

The cost of the class will include the course manual, break snacks, (coffee & pastries in the morning, cookies and sodas in the afternoon) and lunch.  We provide lunch for our students so we don't waste valuable class time while people go to look for a place to get lunch. Please be aware, we cannot accommodate special dietary needs

The fees for this course DO NOT cover the cost of the exam nor does signing up for the course qualify you for the CCST Exam.
